SIPPO PC Client is Microsoft Windows™ based application. SIPPO Softphone communicates on start up with the CMS and go through authentication process, in case, the CMS identifies the SIPPO having a unique ID, it sends back to the client the configuration file. The configuration file holds, the user name, password and SIP Provider credentials. The Client then register in the Softswitch and gets connected. The subscriber now, will be able to make and receive calls and/or send and receive SMS.
Users of SIPPO may easily manage unlimited number of contacts and store their details. The contact details are stored locally. For each contact we may store its Full Name, Home number, Mobile number, Office number, E-Mail, Image (Contact Photo).
During a call, the contact list can be consulted to retrieve any contact details. Frequently used numbers can be assigned to a separate Favorites list for a fast access. For backup purposes, the contact list can be exported into a CSV file, and imported from it when needed.
